"Stitch our Stories" at the Boulder Library
Part of the Boulder Library’s Summer of Discovery, the “Stitch our Stories” workshop will guide participants through learning how to cross stitch, a COVID reflection exercise, and creating a small stitch design based on their experiences during the pandemic. All materials are provided in kits, which are available now at the main library, Meadows branch, George Reynolds branch, and the NoBo corner library.
Registration is encouraged so we can prepare adequately, but walk-ups are welcome. Kits will be available at the workshop for any who need one. Each piece will be completed at home, and then displayed together at the main library later this year.
If you just want to come and hang out, you are welcome! I will have at least one of the project panels available for anyone to stitch, and will be giving a short presentation on the larger Stitching the Situation project.
Many thanks to the Boulder Library Foundation for their funding support!

Stitching Together Study Day
This project will be presented as part of Stitching Together Research Network’s Study Day. Join us as we share some stories from participant stitchers, with a live Q&A session following the video presentation.
Registration is free, and can be found here. There are other events earlier in the day. This even is taking place in the UK, so the time zone difference is significant!
In-person Stitch-up at east window gallery
Stitch with me at an event hosted by east window in North Boulder!
Event will be held at The Galley @ The Bus Stop Apartments,
4871 Broadway
All materials will be provided. Don’t forget your mask! This is now an indoor event, due to fickle CO weather. We will ventilate as best we can.

Zoom Stitch-up
Come hang out and stitch with us! Participants all over the US gather every other week to stitch together and get to know one another. Since we can’t hang out in person, we’re making do with what we have. Meeting info is sent via email to all stitchers. If you are not a participating stitcher, and would like to join in, contact me here. **NOTE** All times listed are Mountain Standard Time zone. **

MoP Situation Report Exhibition
The initial three panels of this project will be exhibited at the Firehouse Art Center in Longmont, CO, as part of the annual festival, Month of Photography Denver. Chosen as a frame for the center’s show, Stitching the Situation centers the events of 2020 in the gallery space. There will be an accompanying online lecture and stitch-up via zoom, likely on March 19th, details TBD.

NO Zoom stitch-up: Happy New Year! Say good by to 2020!!
We will NOT be having a stitch up tonight as it is New Year’s Eve. If ever there was a year to say good-bye to, and millions of reasons to welcome a new beginning, it’s this year! Here’s to a brighter future, everyone! Cheers!

RedLine Checking In exhibition
From the curators: “This exhibition creates an emergency placeholder for a lost past and an unknown future. It forges a path through closures and cancellations, delays and uncertainties, that left many ideas without a place to land. The participating artists have explored, in a word, the half-life that we are all living. We join them in their processing of the pandemic.”
